Jackson DKMG (Trans Red) - NICE! Page Views: 971 Date Added: 09/03/2008 Last Updated: 09/07/2008 Year: 2007 Make: Jackson Model: DKMG Price: $695 Description: This is a like-new Jackson DKMG with active EMG pickups. It is transparent red in color. I purchased it new a year ago and did not play it much. I did not like the action, so had it set-up properly by a professional luthier. Too many guitars purchased new are not properly set-up and now this one is. A spacer was added under the nut so when the frets wore, it could be adjusted properly. Since, I did not like changing tunings or strings with the Floyd Rose, they added a block under it, so now it will not sink in the body and remain level which was an absolute pain to adjust before. What a difference and a time saver it is now! This is one nice guitar and since I play my other guitars so much, especially acoustic, I am deciding to part with it. I may regret it, but someone will have a great guitar for rock and metal music. It has been kept polished, in a case and comes with newer .10 strings, which I recommend using. Also it comes with a brand new Road Runner gig bag I just purchased to ship the guitar in.
