This is a rare, collectible, well kept MADE in Japan 1987-1988 Fender Stratocaster (based on the G + 6 digit serial number). It is a beautiful instrument and I am sad to part with it as it was my first guitar. It has not been played much because I switched to acoustic, and has also been kept in a hard case. I recently paid $150 for a full tune up and it sounds amazing. The price they quoted at a guitar shop I visited when I lived in London was around $850 USD, but I won't be going back there for a while so I lowered the price to sell sooner. Black metallic paint that changes with the light and a black faceplate. Great condition- only some slight chipping of the wood varnish- normal wear and tear (I would even say it is less than normal wear and tear), but otherwise perfect. It also has a Floyd Rose tremolo, as well as locking nut hardware (you can choose to take it off if you like). As many guitar collectors and enthusiasts know, the Japanese made Fender Strats are some of the best guitars on the market. Must sell soon to pay for school!
