Guitars Model: "House Lizard" OM Price: 750.00 Description: This guitar is a custom built guitar for Nicholas C. Guitars. The workshop where this guitar was made is humidity controlled through-out the entire build. It features a solid AAAA sitka top, solid curly mango back and sides, Hand-carved Philippines ebony bridge and ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl "House Lizard " logo, premium gold machine heads. The neck is a five piece lamination of Philippines mahogany, ebony, and "lanka" with ebony side marker dots. Bone nut and saddle. All bracing is sitka spruce and styled after the "scalloped X" design. It has beautiful Australian Paua and mango rosette, Australian Paua and Philippines ebony wood binding through-out. The sitka top and mango body give this guitar a nice warm blues tone with nice lows, mids and trebles, very well balanced. Mango combined with sitka spruce give it a slightly warmer tonal quality, still having rich trebles and warm mids and a nice solid bottom end. This guitar is very responsive to light fingerpicking and packs a real punch with a flat pick. This guitar is of the highest quality throughout. This is a one of a kind, completely hand-built, custom instrument where high tolerances and exacting detail give it a unique quality in beauty and tone. Custom made all wood hard case included.
